Like so many others, we have witnessed the battle of loved ones with Alzheimer’s or dementia.

We have found that the beautiful tranquility of nature can offer a respite to the families struggling with these diseases. The serenity of the beautiful sights and sounds of nature in the gardens can allow families to reconnect with the present and each other. Benches placed throughout the gardens invite rest and peace.

We invite and open our gardens to one family unit at a time, to enjoy an undisturbed and unhurried nature experience. One of our dear elderly visitors suffering from Alzheimer’s returned this spring for the magnolia season, and actually remembered the gardens from her visit the year before! We are touched and in awe of the power and beauty of nature.
